This time last year I was right around five months pregnant with Laney, we had just had our "big" ultrasound, and had found out that we were having a baby girl! We went to the beach a few days later and this picture was taken on the deck. I thought I was so huge at this point. Now, looking back at this picture, I barely look pregnant. People probably just thought I was chunky! At this point I had stopped my habit of reading "What to Expect When You Are Expecting" every time I was sitting by the pool in a bikini. Now I see that I should have continued during this vacation.
I wish I had blogged during my pregnancy with Laney because so much of it is a blur to me now. I always, always, always wanted a baby girl but I was so afraid it would never happen so I forced myself to believe I would have all boys. But, here she is!!!! Hooray!
