6 Months Old

Here she is half way to her first birthday! Time goes by so fast. I say that every month. This month Laney got her bottom two teeth, took a trip to Vermont, and enjoyed peas, squash, avocado and zucchini.
She has been having a wonderful time in the pool. We put her in a float and she just kicks around the pool. Its pretty funny to watch such a tiny baby kicking around. She is not scared at all and doesn't mind when her face gets wet or she gets splashed. I need to get her in swim lessons.
She is very close to clapping but she doesn't quite get her hands together. She still smiles at everyone she meets but it starting to show some "shy" behaviors. I think they are more coy than shy...
I've started trying to put bows in her hair but they tend to fall out pretty easily. She no longer allows hats on her head. As soon as we put one on her, she grabs it off.
We have not been to her doctor's appointment yet. So no stats yet.
