4 Months Old...

Yesterday. I wanted to wait until today to post this so that I could report her stats. She had an appointment with Dr. Headings this afternoon. She is 15 lbs 13.5 ounces (we are going to just say 16 lbs!) and 26 3/4 inches long. She is in the 95th percentile in both height and weight. Dr. Headings said she looks fabulous. I was so happy because of all the eating problems we have had during the days I'm at work. I guess all of the nights of getting up multiple times has been worth the lack of sleep. She is healthy and that is what is most important. She got some shots but didn't cry...which made us laugh.

I can't believe it has been four months since the day she was born. She is developing so quickly. She is so social and make friends everywhere we go. She is so interested in the people around her and loves to smile and make faces. Her laugh is priceless! She giggles and even throws her head back when she thinks something is especially funny. She loves to look in the mirror and even acts shy when the baby looking back at her mimics what she is doing. She is able to roll from her back to her tummy but hasn't tried the other way yet. She shows an interest in moving forward when on her tummy and will push off of our hands or legs if she can. She holds things with both hands and brings them to her mouth. She drinks (assisted) from her sippy cup. She holds the handles but "lets" Oma help her tip it back.

Most of all, she lights up our lives everyday.
